Insurance Agent – Sales Professional

We are hiring for a talented, experience insurance agent for a sales position that includes outside and inside sales. Sales focus will be P&C Business insurance and Financial Sales to current clients. Agent should have a current circle of influence to market and sell. Ownership of book is possible.

An established and recognized insurance agency with 30 years of experience has an immediate opening for a talented well-rounded individual for P&C and Financial sales. We have new and exciting opportunities with tremendous potential for growth as we transition to an independent agency.

Job Duties:

Develops personal relationships with our valued clients. The inside sales will consist of many cross-sale opportunities, especially Life, Health, Medicare and Financial to our current P&C clients.

Sells their own new accounts / new customers in keeping with agency and individual goals. Approaches potential clients from referrals, centers of influence, and prospecting efforts.

Prospecting for new leads with a focus on business insurance and group health leads.

Set appointments with prospects generated from our digital marketing campaigns, and telemarketing efforts.

Problem solving skills to determine clients' particular needs and situations and close sales. 

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.

Enhances insurance agency reputation by selling best policies to high quality new clients. 

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be aggressive/assertive, a self-starter with the ability to influence others and become their trusted advisor.

Teamwork is essential.

Likes to work at a fast pace; can multi-task and problem solve and is able to work in an open office environment.

Integrity, honesty, candor and strong ethics.

Excellent people skills, sales motivated.

Ability to obtain insurance license (P&C and Life and Health). 

Prior insurance experience is highly preferred, otherwise a proven track record of successful sales. 

Job Types: Commission, Draw, or Salary + Commissions. Partnership and / or Ownership of book possible 

Salary: Year 1 $40,000.00 to $75,000.00
